Translated Textbook Policy Update
Dear International Members,
We would like to inform you of important updates regarding the distribution and use of ICAD translated textbooks.
As before, students attending in-person classes at the ICAD Headquarters in Korea will continue to receive a printed textbook in the language of their course.
For translated textbooks ordered from outside Korea, members may choose either a licensed digital textbook or a printed textbook.
To strengthen copyright protection and ensure proper textbook management, ICAD has introduced a Digital Textbook License System for all translated digital textbooks.
Digital Textbook License Policy
Each translated digital textbook is issued as a licensed file containing:
*The instructor's unique identification code
*The student number required for certificate application
Digital textbooks are provided exclusively for official ICAD certification courses.
Each license is issued for one student only and may not be reused, transferred, copied, or shared.
Textbook Usage Policy
1. A new digital textbook license must be issued for each new student and course.
2. Each digital textbook license is valid for one student only and cannot be reused.
3. Scanning printed textbooks or converting them into digital files is strictly prohibited.
4. Textbook usage records are linked to student management and certificate application records.
5. Textbook content may not be copied, modified, distributed, or shared without prior written authorization from ICAD.
6. Any violation of this policy may result in the suspension or revocation of official instructor certification and textbook usage privileges.
Ordering Physical translated textbooks
Physical translated textbooks are also available for purchase.
